This is just beautiful. I am beyond thrilled with what you did with the prompt--it becomes something real and beautiful, even if Anita is a little bit sad. Deservedly so, but I quite appreciate the adult attitude she has her. Twenty seven is still young, and we readers tend to forget that Anita is just barely an adult in the books.
