A question to the folks who have read Danse Macabre: I'm on page 269. Is there a point to this book or just more Anita whining about what she's becoming? Like, does anything ever happen?
Would the fellow have become a human servant before or after his 'first' death? If it's after they might not have realized he (could be a she) is immortal.
They could assume the 'hard to kill' thing is because of the ties between master & servant.
I'm thinking after his first death, but the vamp who took him not really being aware of what he took on. I'd think that it'd seem attractive to take on a person who seemingly couldn't stay dead--better for his health--failing to realize that the human servant had a HUGE achilles tendon--being hunted as much for who *he* was as his master.
