Date: 2007-09-05 09:27 pm (UTC)The Pied Piper reference was planned but was really only silly, unless I write that epic history for her. The Grindelwald reference was necessary to explain her disregard for the WW and for Dumbledore in particular, and why she is so willing to put herself in harm's way (ie Moroven's land) to protect Harry. Well, she has other reasons as well.
Don't worry about Jason and Luna. She's only sixteen after all. Um, though it's more complicated than that.
Hermione is really worried about Harry because all she's been reading on Anita is the muggle press (how she kills and is sleeping with a vampire) and the bad stuff about necromancers. And she's seeing Harry becoming more and more "on-side" with Anita, as Harry's pack instincts are kicking in, esp. after the Olaf thing happened. Hermione doesn't understand it and Harry's not even trying to explain.
Things will be moving very quickly! Only about 4 hours left on Halloween, need to shove it all in there :)
