Oh, who am I kidding? I have no fic for today. I spent the morning hungover (sort of) and replying to Balancing Act 4 comments on LJ (I've given up replying to comments on TTH and Pomme de Sang because then I'd never get anything done) and writing some of a new mystery fic, and then I went shopping and ended up cooking for four hours while watching SGA episodes then reading SGA fanfic by the excellent
ltlj. Now I've decided to just accept it and give up for the night.
So really, this post has no point except to say "Ooh, shiny!" I was going to do some fic recs, but I'm too lazy. Go read
ltlj's stuff though, because she's a god.

Date: 2006-06-25 04:51 pm (UTC)My breakfast this morning: Some pre-cooked rice (the last time we went for Chinese take-out, they gave us too much rice, so I kept the extra carton in the freezer for a few weeks and pulled it out last night to thaw), a small sandwich steak, some pre-packaged frozen stir-fry veggies, and some oyster sauce. I sliced up the steak and put the fatty bits in the wok first on medium heat, to release the fat oils and coat the wok; then I removed them and threw in a dash of olive oil, just to make sure the meat wouldn't stick. Then the meat went in, then about a cup of the veggies, then 1/2 cup of the rice along with 1/4 cup of water. I then turned down the heat and let everything coast for five minutes, then pulled off the lid and added the oyster sauce. Yum!
